It is kind of cool to have a unique mascot. It sets your school apart for the millions of eagles, lions, and bears. (My high school mascot was the Orphans) I doubt the people who came up with the mascot for Butte County High School in Arco, Idaho realized just how unique their name would be.


I didn't believe this when I first saw it so I had to do some research. Sure enough, The Butte Pirates are legit.
