The Wall Street Journal also has some details on the Apple Tablet. They claim that the Tablet will have either a 10 or 11-inch touch screen. The also cite sources would say the gadget will cost $1,000 and will have a built in wireless plan, al la The Kindle.
$1,000 seems pretty steep for the Tablet. I understand its merits, but it is something I would have a hard time putting down that much cash for right away. But the "Apple Tax" is always in effect, and early adoptors and Mac Fan Boys and Girls will line up around the block to get these on day one.
If you are wondering what exactly you would do with the Tablet, Jared Newman from PC World came up with 5 great suggestions. My only question that remains is in regards to typing. It seems that a Tablet that large would be difficult to type on in the way you type on an iPhone. It will be interesting to see how Apple addresses that issue.
More info (and rumors) will trickle out as the release date approaches. Check back here for more Apple Tablet news.
