Movie based video games suck. But they have come a long way since the infamous Atarti 2600 version of ET: The Extra Terrestrial. But what if movies from today were made into Atari games?

The wonderful people at Penney Design have created some brilliant game covers for modern movies.

From Penney Design:

Retro Games With Modern Themes: The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

These are so beautifully done! It really seems as if someone picked these up at a rummage sale. I love the Avatar one especially. The detail of the hand written $2, and the faded price tag are just perfect.
